Trying to find Linton

John Report 25 Jun 2007 23:29

Charles Henry Linton (born 1887, Newport, Monmouthshire), and his wife Emma Beatrix, nee Bowen (born c1863, Newport, Monmouthshire) had two children, Barbara Linton (born c 1920/21) and Geoffrey Bowen Linton (born 1927). Although it is known that Barbara Linton married either 2 or 3 times, and that by the 1940s she might have been living in or around Scotland (and she may have had children), contact between Geoffrey and Barbara was lost between the 1940s and 1950s. If anyone knows Barbara's current whereabouts, or the whereabouts of her children or anyone else who can provide information about her, please will you contact me (I am Geoffrey Bowen Linton's brother-in-law, and I am currently compiling a history of his forbears and family, ready for his 80th birthday later this year). Many thanks (and if you have any knowledge of other Linton family members from in and around the Newport, (Monmouthshire), Creech St.Michael (Somerset), or Essex area, I'd be most appreciative of the details). Diolch
