Hi, I would be interested to hear from any GODDARD's originating from SHEFFIELD. I am looking for any links to my grandfather Harry Goddard (b.1886), who married Lily Henderson, and was an Iron Moulder in Sheffield. I believe Harry was one of 8 children born to Samuel Goddard (b.1863) & Sarah Andrew, his siblings being Albert, Arthur, Edna, Rebecca, Jane, Frank & George. I have heard that my grandfather Harry's brother George Goddard possibly owned a butchers shop in Chapeltown, if that rings a bell with anyone? Glad to hear from anyone who thinks they might be related, or have any substantial information. Regards, Pete |
