Am seeking information on REVOL RICHARD WATTS; [aka Richard Benjamin] born 6 June 1913 at 48, Balmoral Rd., Southend, Essex. Father: William Thomas Reynolds-Benjamin. Mother: Beatrice Rose Watts. Aged 15, Richard was admitted to Dr. Barnardo's [Cardiff branch] with his half-brother Jack, and on 19 Apr 1928 Richard was placed in the care of Mrs. Thomas Rees, Parkwyn Farm, Llangunnor, Carmarthenshire. On the death of his mother in 1934 Richard's address was given as 11 Eyre St., Splott, Cardiff; he was then known as Richard Benjamin. Any information concerning Richard's life would be most appreciated. |
