Member Since: December 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	I have a John Clough b1818c in Walton (/Le Dale ) or Leyland according to which record you look at. He married Isabella Ascroft in 1846 at St Augustines in Preston but his parents are not named on the marriage certificate. I believe Isabella died in 1856 leaving 3 children Elizabeth,John and Robert.They were living in Preston. John snr died circa 1890 (I think ). As there were many Cloughs in the area in the 1800s through to the early 1900s and the majority of them named John it gets a bit confusing.
