Heather Witt (20/06/2007 23:37:01) | Update Message | Delete Message Can any one help me I can’t find the date of deaths of my great grandfather and mother or their marriage date? Ggmother was born in 1862,Emily Ranson then supposedly married out of her faith (Jewish,) She had 13 children all whom died soon after birth, except gdad Albert James Henry Hale 5/11/1894. She was then was admitted to lunatic asylum (I have tried London archives and Kew for records and so far no luck) then she went walk-about one night and was found frozen to death in gutter around 1896? GgfatherJames William Hale 1856 took to bottle and? Committed suicide in 1906 again no evidence just an oral history from an aunt. Is it possible for the couple to give false names on marriage certificate (I have traced a William Hall & Emily Eason who married 1882 then disappear on the census results next time, though correct names are on gdads birth certificate? Any ideas where I go from here, as I cannot move further back.
