James Renwick. Born in Lydford. Devon, April 8th, 1891, raised in Birnie Hall, By Carluke,Lanarkshire, Scotland. Father: William Renwick, Shepherd, mother: Mary Renwick, nee Henderson, of Courhope, Eddleston,Peebleshire, Scotland. Served in the Royal Navy during WW 1, Carpnter by trade, Emigrated to Canada 1924. Married Margaret, nee Donaldson of Lanarkshire in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1925. One son, William, born January 31st, 1925, one daughter, Shirley, Born 1930, died 1939. James died 1959. Margaret died 1992. Son, William first married Nancy Margaret,nee Loe, 1945, divorced 1982, 3 children, Wayne Melvin, Gail, and Jon. Married Sheelagh MacDonald 1991. If you may be related please contact. |
