JOSEPH RAFFERTY I am looking for more information on my great-grandfather Joseph Rafferty. Born in 1875 in Co Tyrone. His father was also called Joseph (a farmer) but unfortunately I have no information about his mother. At some point Joseph worked as a labourer (possibly in Glasgow) before enlisting in the Royal Marines Light Infantry in 1895. He was transferred to Plymouth where he married Florrie Elliot Tribble and had a daughter Florence. He died in Plymouth in 1915. I am hoping that someone might be able to give me more information about his parents and any brothers or sisters. Thanks |
