Trying to find Hopper

Hi Sheila

I don't know if this is part of the same family. i've a Thomas Hopper who was born 1814/15 in Durham he was a stone mason could this be one of John Hopper's sons,if you do know please could you let me know.Thomas was my g-g-g-grandfather and i know very little of my fathers side.

Interested in hearing from anyone else researching the family of Humphrey HOPPER (born either 1713, Lanchester, Durham or 1719, St. Margarets Durham City) and Margaret HENDRIE. William HOPPER, (born 1746 Wolsingham, Durham) and Hannah SUTTHERN or SOUTHERNE John HOPPER (born 1784 Wolsingham, Durham) and Jane FENWICK. Stone mason as were several sons. 11 children including William HOPPER (born 1808 Wolsingham, Durham)) and Ann DIXON. Moved to Bishop Auckland in 1838, then Marylebone by 1844 and then Chelsea around 1846. He was a stone mason. 9 children including Robert HOPPER (1837 Wolsingham). Married Emma HUGHES (1828, died 1873) then Ann Wilhelmina HEMMINGS in 1864. Robert was a policeman and lived in Westminster and then Clapham. He and Emma had 6 children, including William HOPPER (1863, Westminster) and Mary Anne POTIER (1861 France) William was a cook in the Royal Navy. 2 sons, Robert William HOPPER 1886 and Henry Alfred HOPPER, 1888, both born Portsmouth. Henry was know as Charley and was my Grandfather. Sheila Appleton (nee Hopper)
