Sophia SPENCER married George BROWN in England. Sailed to Australia and brought up 8 children 1. Elizabeth B. who married Johny Walter, (deceased)then Samuel Bird. 2.Sophia B. who married Andrew Mercer 3. Maria B. who married Robert Anderson 4. Ellen B. ' married George Collier 5. Emily B. Married G Champion, (Deceased) then Harry Cahill 6. Jane B. married Harry Willis 7. George Henry B. married Gessima Martin (Dec) then Charlotte Welchman 8. Thomas Brown married Emily Dean *George & Gessima had Richard G, Alice, Sophie & Nellie *George & Charlotte had Amy B.-Eagleton Sophia Spencer-Brown and George Brown are my G.G. Grandparents, would like to hear from any of the Australian born relies or from Sophia Spencer's family or from G.G.Grandad George Brown's side. Thank you Margot |
