I wonder if anyone can help. I am trying to trace a soldier who knew my Great Grandfather. The Soldier was Alexander (possibly also known as John) Gray or Grey who was billeted after Dunkirk along with another Scottish soldier at the Miners Welfare Institute in Kilverton, Wales, South Yorkshire. Probably in August 1940. I have no idea how old he was but I would assume him to be early to mid 20,s. My G Grandfather was the Steward at the institute. Mr Jacob (Jake) Conway. Hope you can help me.
