I am seeking information re my PITT relatives. 1.My great Grandfather was William John Pitt ,not sure where he was born,he married Sarah Jane Lorkin in 1875 at Franklin Tasmania.Australia ,his age ,on the register of marriages from the Franklin District is listed as 33 which would mean he was born in1842 ,his occupation at this time was listed as Mariner,there were four children born ,William died in 1894 , age on certificate states 50 ,which would give a birth year of 1844,he is buried at Franklin.Tas and his occupation at this time was noted on DC as Farmer. 2.
