Hi, Just a long shot...does anyone have in their tree a MARY COOPER, born in England who emmigrated to the USA, married a WILLIAM HENSHAW, also born in England? They had a son WILLIAM HENSHAW, b.1850 in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any other information about William & Mary at all since the first definite documentary evidence I have about the son William, from whom I am descended, is the 1880 US census which says that his parents came from England but by that time he had his own family. I'm not even sure whether they married in England before emmigrating or afterwards. In fact I only know Mary's maiden name though an undocumented suggestion by an older & now deceased relative. All very tenuous! Any information gratefully received. Michael |
