I am looking for more info on James MYALL b C1829 Deptford, Kent ENG who m Sarah Ann MARTIN C1850 in Deptford. The 1851 census shows him 22, a lbr & Sarah 21 a Tailoress b Bermondsey. The only M/C I have been able to find is that for a James MYALL & Sarah BANTIN which I ordered thinking there had been a mistake, but thru' one of those FH coincidences, I've since proved they were an entirely different family who went to Sth Australia. James & Sarah produced 5 chn before heading to NZ on the Evening Star in 1860. I believe James' fr was William chr 3 June 1806 Blandford DOR & his brs poss Edward James b Greenwich C1832, William John b Soho bapt St James Piccardilly 10 Aug 1828. William seems to have been unlucky in his choice of wives. The mother the boys knew was Susannah Augusta HADDEN but her m to their fr was not until 1836. His previous wife Harriet CULHAM whom he m on 9 Jan 1832 at St Mary Whitechapel may or may not have been mother to one of them & one is left to assume there was an earlier wife again. Anyone else out there researching these MYALLs?
