Trying to find Clark

I am searching for my great grandmother - ELIZA CLARK born October 1879 but dont know where. She is not mentioned on any census records but she married FREDERICK COPLEY in Sheffield in June 1901. On the marriage certificate is a witness signature of HARRY CLARK but we are unsure whether he was a brother or cousin. There is no father named on the marriage certificate. Family rumour has it that Eliza became pregnant whilst working as a domestic servant, married Frederick and then had another child the following year in May 1902. We cannot obtain the birth records of the first child born during 1901. Is there anyone out there who can help me? Thank you very much
