Trying to find Williams

I'm trying to find any further links to Edwin Richard Williams. Birth cert shows b1881 - Bermondsey & marriage cert to Mary Ellen PAYTON is dated 1909 - South Shields. They had 2 children: Lilian May b1912 in Bury & Edmund b??.

Edwin's father was Richard William Williams b1858 in Islington and his mother was Fanny Emilia (nee Grice).

Edwin was listed on certs as being a music hall artist and professional pianist - although can't see anything on census records for 1901! His siblings were: Berlie, Berdram, Bertha, Henry G W, Lilian, Madeleine, May & Victor.

Although I've searched all census records & obtained a few certs on the way, I don't seem to have any background info on Edwin & Mary Ellen, other than they toured music halls together.
