Anne Caroline Norton was born in Fort Hare Cape of Good Hope, South Africa in 1852, parents Edward William BARNICOAT and Elizabeth (nee) LEE Her last known address was 1 Exmouth Road, Bromley Kent in 1913. Husband's name was Charles Norton. He was a Company Sergeant Major in the Royal Engineers. Date of marriage was 24th may 1882 in Aldershot, Hampshire. A daughter Violette was born in Dublin in 1890. Are there any descendants out there of Anne Norton or Violette Norton. Anne (widow) since found with her daughter on the 1901 census resident with the Smith family in Bray Berkshire. Head of the family was a Theatrical Manager employing 3 other staff. So far not found a death for Charles Norton |
