In answer to your query about Amelia Judd. On the 1881 census i found the following
WILLIAM JUDD 27 BORN CHELSEA
ELLEN 25
AMELIA E. 5
EMELYN 3
WILLIAM 2
ALFRED 4MTHS

In 1871 William was living with his parents at 31 North st Chelsea
William Judd 58 shoemaker born chelsea
Maria 55
Mary 33
Maria 22
WILLIAM AGE 17
John 17
Emily 13
Rosina 10

In 1841 William Judd born 1813 was living at 39 North st Chelsea with his wife

Mary
Matthew

My husband is connected to the Judd family of Chelsea and they were all shoemakers

Hi there I am trying to find my great grandmother's mother etc my ggma's name is Amelia Ellen Judd born 1876 in Chelsea and married Albert Townsend in 1893 in the Kensington area. Any relation to you?

Interested in the Judd family who originated in Hatfield Broad Oak and later moved to Waltham Abbey, the names are Philip and his wife Amelia. Luke and Eliza..Sarah, Martha and Henry children of Philip. Valerie Lamb
