Jones'...... it's like looking for a needle in a haystack!!! My grandmother was Edwina Jones, born in Abersycan, South Wales in 1924. She had two older brothers - Albert and Glynn. They moved to Essex when she was very young. Their parents were Edwin Jones and Sarah Langley. Sarah was also born in Abersycan. That is where my trail runs cold other than the fact that Edwin's father was also Edwin. If this rings bells with anyone out there, I would be very much appreciative of any further information that can help me. As you can imagine, with a name like Jones, it is very difficult to find any information at all!! |
