I'm seeking information on a David Smith Byrne, born 16/06/1920 at Cudworth, West Yorkshire. David married Nellie Taylor (DOB - 14/10/1918) during the war, or shortly afterwards. They migrated to Australia in 1960. David and Nellie's sons are seeking information on their parents - and despite repeated requests to them before their deaths, David and Nellie did not leave the boys with any information on their English History. Steve (the youngest) thinks his father was a butcher before he joined the Army, and after his discharge after the War. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks to those who sent me information from this request. I have located the information that Steve was looking for. He is very appreciative of the site, and the members of the site.
