Hi, as a means to trace my Williams ancestry I have recently had a Y Chromosome 43 marker test.My ancestors are Cornish. They originate from St.Keverne and Mawgan in Meneage in the early 1700,s.Surprisingly the results show not Celtic ancestry but Nordic or Danish Viking roots.Up to now the nearest match I have found are Julian family members living in America with 37 markers that match.I would like to contact any Williams with Cornish ancestry who have had the Y DNA test or are considering doing the test. This of course would be in the strictist confidence.Best wishes Gerald Williams
