I am looking for my mum's mum. My mums name is Lyn Carol Waugh before she was adopted her name then became Lyn Carol Bailey. (People call her Carol instead of Lyn). Lyn Carol Waugh was adopted by Wilfred and Winifred Bailey and she was brought up in Upminister Essex. I am looking for her parents by blood my grandparents the Waugh. Lyn Carol was born on the 18th January 1946. She was told her mother was very young and her father was American, has anyone got any information on this please. Since this message we have found out Mothers maiden name Waugh, Quarter Jan/Feb//Mar, District Chelmsford (Essex) Page 1186 so I am hoping to send off for the orginal birth certificate with information which was very kindly passed on to me.
