Trying to find Curtis

Hi My name is Sally Russell and I am trying to find more details of my mums side of the Curtis family. My great-grandad was Ernest Baker Curtis 1878-1916 who was from West Lilling In Yorkshire. He married Annie Isabella Johnson b c1883 and the 1901 census shows them living in March Street in York. I know Annie was stll alive in 1921 as she was a witness at my grandad George Curtis' wedding to my grandma Sarah Ann Bellwood at St Margaret's Church in York. The other witness was an Ernest Edward Ward. I have been unable to find out when Annie died, as she was only about 33 when her husband died she may have re-married. I am trying to find out more about Annie and I also understand that my grandad George had some sisters but am struggling to find them as they would have been born after the 1901 census. George was born 23/07/1901. Any help would be greatly appreciated Best Regards ..Sally |
