I would like to contact descendants of Frederick Mercer (known as Ponty) born Patea New Zealand 22 Feb 1877 - father Henry Mercer born Kent, mother Amelia Mercer (also known as Ellen maiden name Skinner) born Kent. He had an older brother Edward James Mercer (known as Syd) born Patea (Whenuakura) 1880 and four older brothers and sisters born in Kent. I do not know Frederick's wifes name but known children were Bill, Alice and Alec. I understand that Alice had two husband's Bill & Ray, Alec married Margaret Mitchell and had Edwin Mercer & Howard Mercer. If any othe these names mean anything to anyone I would be glad to hear from you. |
