Trying to find decendants of Francis Armstrong born 1856 in Gibraltar. Father Thomas and mother Angela nee Montado. Mother born Gibraltar and father born Ireland, Father was Chief of Police in Gibraltar. Francis had brothers Charles, Thomas who died aged 22 in 1877, William who was deaf,and sisters Elizabeth, Margaret, Adelaide,Angela Emilia and Matilde. Francis might have gone to the States because some years ago a couple from America arrived on a cruise in Gibraltar trying to find the Burial place of Thomas Armstong. Perhaps these people had nothing to do with Francis and he might have settled in UK. |
