I am looking for information regarding the birth etc of my gt granddad Michael Quinn born abt 1855 in Ireland who married Catherine Riley( born 9th June 1863 in Sacriston Witton Gilbert.)They married at The Church Of The Annunciation at Spencer Street Chesterfield Derbys on 17th November 1883. Michael's parents were Patrick and Sarah Quinn. Michael died at Chesterfield on 4th April 1920, and Catherine died at Chesterfield on 4th November 1941..I do not have any information about Patrick and Sarah other than their names which appear on the church marriage record for Michael and Catherine. The 1901 census record gives Michael's occupation as Railway Labourer in Chesterfield. Any information which could lead me to where in Ireland he was born would be appreciated. Janet Charlesworth |
