BORN c1888 - MARRIED ETHEL EDGERTON (Bc1894) - HE WAS MY HUSBAND'S GRANDFATHER (MATERNAL) HE WAS RAISED IN AN ORPHANAGE, NOT SURE FROM WHAT AGE, SOMEWHERE IN THE LONDON AREA. WENT STRAIGHT FROM THE ORPHANAGE INTO MILITARY SERVICE. WAS A BATMAN. DIED IN CAMBERLEY, SURREY IN THE EARLY 1950'S. WILLIAM AND ETHEL HAD 3 CHILDREN - SAMUEL, FLORENCE AND BETTY.
