FORDHAM - Essex (Little Thurrock/Horndon –on-the-Hill) Trying to find my ggg grandfather/grandmother (Thomas’s parents) My gg grandfather was Thomas Fordham He married Lucy Alice Jordan in Little Thurrock, Essex on 11 June 1835 Notes Thomas Fordham -Born ABT 1810 in Little Thurrock, Essex (Horndon on the Hill) Died 18 January 1861 Plumstead, London Lucy Alice Jordan Born ABT 1813 Walton,Suffolk Married: 11 June 1835, Little Thurrock, Essex (Witnesses were a Matthew and Mary (or Lucy) Challis. Between the 1851 and 1861 Census, Thomas and Lucy moved to London (area n/k although Thomas died in Plumstead in 1861. On the 1861 Census, Lucy is back in Little Thurrock, Essex with her children and appears there again on the 1881 Census. If you can provide any information, I would be most grateful. My Father is 90 years young this month and would love to give him an update on his grandfather!
