Trying to find Wibberley

Hi
I was wondering if anyone has come across Ann Wibberley married George Turner. This family was from the Nottinghamshire area and Ann statred having chidren in 1760. I have a Wibberley family in the area Calverton Nottignhamshire but I just can't make the connection. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Kerry

This is my first message to Genes Reunited. I just concentrate on people with the surname Wibberley, built up from indexes and census returns. I think I can trace your history back to Ralph Wibberley born around 1799. There appear to be some nice big families in this branch. So far, I have 129 descendants of Ralph with the surname Wibberley. Do contact me directly if you would like any information.

Hi Kerry,
Birth, marraige & death certificates are a good place to start. If you can find out a bit more ie where your gt grandfather was born, lived etc you could try the Wirksworth parish records site. I used it alot when searching for my Wibberley family members. I also might be abe to help if you have more info.

I am looking for someone to help me find the whereabouts of my ancestors. I know my grandfather was called William Wibberley, born in 1914, whom married Ruth Dale in South Yorkshire in 1933 (ish). His father (my great-grandfather) was called George Wibberley born circa. 1880. I know my great-grandfather was born in the Derbyshire area. Could someone please help me?
