Member Since: February 2005 Posts: 11 Send Message	I am looking for any info on James Strang born c1799 Wigton Cumberland.He was a watchmaker by trade and is shown in the 1851 census with sons James, aged about 22 also a watchmaker, Peter aged about 18 who's occupation was brassfinisher and a wife Ann aged 30 from Cork. Both sons were born in Glasgow but I have not had any sucess in finding any hard evidence of BMD. I now think that the mother of the boys was called Jean/Janet Tenant and that there is another son George also a watchmaker in Glasgow. Hope someone recognises him,
