Member Since: May 2007 Posts: 0 Send Message	Am trying to find record of the parents of my grandfather, Alfred John Rawlings Carter, born 27th December 1891, died November 1986, and married Florence Gertrude Waddup sometime in the mid to late 1910's. I understand that his parents did not marry until after his birth, as my Great Grandfather would not wed unless child was a boy. Cannot fid any other record apart from that of his death. He MAY have been registered as Rawlings, so am assuming that mother was Rawlings, and father Carter.My mother, Cecily Joan Carter was the only child.
