Trying to find Thomas

Hi l am trying to find my fathers family tree, his name was Trevor Thomas and he was born in the london area (stanmore etc) in May 1933, he was told his father was also called Trevor Thomas and that he was in someway connected with the railway but that he had died before he was born. His mothers maiden name was Janet Laing but unfortunately she married a number of times during her lifetime and has since passed away. My father was brought up under the name of Trevor Mayhew by his mother and stepfather he had a number of step brothers and sisters (who l had never met). Can anyone help me fill in the blanks |
