Hi, I was born Meryl Ann BARKER in June 1972. I was placed in an orphanage called 'The Home of The Good Sheppard' in Swansea shortly after birth. I have no details of my birth mother other than she was between the ages of 17 - 20yrs when she gave birth. I would dearly love to trace my birth mother and any other brothers or sisters that i may have. In January 1973, my adoptive mother changed my name to Helen Claire PARSONS, but since getting married 16yrs ago I now go by the name Helen Claire EVANS. If anyone has any information that would help me to find my mother and or family then I would be grateful to hear from you. Thanks very much Helen Evans |
