I am trying to find out more about HORACE GEORGE STRONG. I believe he was killed on 28/04/1915 at 2nd Battle of Ypres alongside my 2x-Great-Uncle Harry Aylward. The Commonwealth Graves Comission have provided me with a list of all Rifle Brigade casualties for that date and he is the only one who was in the 4th Battn as was my g-g-uncle. Horace's details are as follows - Rank Rifleman, Army No 3815, 4th Bn., Rifle Brigade. I have checked the free BMD website and I can find only one Horace George Strong bc 1888 Greenwich Dist. If there is anyone out there who might be related I have a transcript of the 4th Bttn War Diaries leading up to/including 28/04/1915. Liz |
