Member Since: May 2007 Posts: 26 Send Message	I am looking my wifes grandparents family. Her grandfather was John King Bewley,born in Carlisle in 1890. He had 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Barnes Armstrong, Jane Nichol, Williamena Elliot, William George, and David Gledining. Their parents were George Bewley married to Sarah Jane Armstrong. They started in Carlisle moved to Fife in Scotland between 1890 and 1893 and went back to Carlisle about 1896/7. The family by the 1901 census were living in Belle Vue Carlisle. Is there any of the family still in the district, or anywhere else for that matter.
