This is a revised version of message published previously, as it appears I was on the wrong track with my Plymouth 'Mooney's...........!! Am now looking for anyone who is researching this family who appear in the 1881 Plymouth/Devonport/Stonehouse census....... John Mooney..born 1821 in Galway Ireland...Masons Lab Mary Mooney wife born 1839 Portsmouth Thomas Mooney ?? born 1854 Ireland Alice Mooney daug (servant) born 1865 Devon Thomas Mooney son born 1866 Plymouth Devon John Mooney son born 1871 Glasgow Scotland Mary Mooney dau born 1875 Plymouth Ellen Mooney dau born 1878 Devonport... Thomas born 1866 was my husbands grandfather, and I believe his mother Mary to have been nee Kennealy. The Kennealy family hailed from Ireland, but in the 1861 Plymouth census a Martin and Mary Kennealy are found living in New St Plymouth next door to the Mooneys. Husbands grandad was a naval man, who married Louisa Lamble in Plymouth.........Carole
