Trying to find Burnett

Hello !! I am looking for information about a Burnett in Midhurst, Sussex, around 1875.---Apparently, he was a butcher by trade. My great- grandmother, Emily Wilton, of West Dean, Sussex, was 'in service ' from about age 13, and got more than she bargained for from Mr Burnett !!------The resulting daughter was called Lily, or Lillie, Burnett--Wilton, and was eventually taken care of by my great-grandfather , John Mills, when he married Emily Wilton. Eventually, when of age, Lily married a Henry Hopkins, from East Preston, Sussex. UPDATE : 05/06/07 Many, Many thanks to all the people who helped me with this , especially Victor, Christopher, Kath, and Louise, as a result of whose efforts I now know more about the Burnetts than I ever thought possible !! Thankyou All !!
