Trying to find Doubleday

Hi, I am looking for any information on a Sis Doubleday. Her maiden name was Fletcher. She had a sister, Lucy Fletcher.I believe they were from the london area. Lucy was my grandmother, who married a Toft. She had a son William dob 1926 a daughter, Eva May, dob 10 05 1930 and my mother Shirley Primrose dob 10 04 1935. Sis emigrated to Canada, and kept in touch with my mother, Shirley. Apparently she was supposed to go and live with her aunt Sis in Canada but that never happened. Sis kept in touch until i was very young. I was born in 1955. But then she said she was retiring and going travelling. We believe Sis was a housekeeper, and perhaps had at least two children. One possibly a pilot and the other a nurse. Any information on Doubledays in Canada would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Christina. |
