I am trying to find relatives of my mother Emily Cheshire,born in South Lancashire/North Cheshire...about1890.I know that she had sisters living in this area....I met them in the town of Altrincham,Cheshire where one of them had a Fish and Chip shop between 1940/1960........the married name could have been Lever. Emily (married ??) Thomas Smith early in the 1900's...who I believe was a professional soldier at the time...it is possible that she was disowned by her parents .Tom did not allow visits by her relatives....she died 1984/85..aged 94....nearly 25 years after Tom. |
