I am trying to trace the parentage of John Yeoman born Burnsall, Yorkshire in February 1826. The baptism record shows parents as William Clark and Ann and the surname is Yeoman. I cannot trace a William Clark ever marrying an Ann Yeoman, but have found evidence of both these individuals living in the Burnsall area at this time. Ann Yeoman being married to Jacob Harker in 1818 and living in Linton ( a couple of miles from Burnsall in 1826. Can anyone enlighten me on John's parentage?
