Member Since: April 2007 Posts: 145 Send Message	Another lady on here and I are trying to find out if there is a link between our Chaplin families.If anyone has a ansestry sub and could help us we would be sooooo gratefull.her tree is ; william chaplin c 1788 m phyllis c1784 they had walter c 1823,phyllis c1818,william c1820,henry c1825, julia c1827 and emma c 1830. walter m ellen c1827 they had john c 1861,ellen c1848,elizabeth c1850, julia c 1852, walter c 1853,kate c 1863,freda c 1866, george c 1868, willy c 1870 and clara c 1857. John m Thurza c 1865 they had henry c 1890, william c 1888, winifred c 1897, and ethel c 1886. henry m anne c 1890 they had robert c1923 m norah Stretton. my tree;William Chaplin of 5,south rd wimbledon deceased by 1889.daughter eliza Chaplin b 1867.m fred Chappell b 1869 of 6,dundonald rd wimbledon, in wimbledon baptist chapel on 5th may 1889..we wondered if my william is one of her williams but we cant find a way to find a link as we are both beginners and dont have subs yet.I know this is a long shot and if its too much to ask please feel free to ignor it but you lot are clever and know the way to find things that us lesser mortals dont.So anyone who fancies getting thier teeth into this one we would be so gratefull even if it only proves that we are not related.
