Looking for anyone researching the Barnett Family of Wiltshire in the 1700's. My 4x great grand father was William Henry Barnett who was born c1791 in Salisbury. He married Martha Totterdell in Gosport, Hampshire c1819 and they arrived in Tasmania, Australia in 1833. William called himself 'Reverend' but whether he was actually ordained is a different matter, but he was heavily involved with the Church in Tasmania. Children are:- 1. William born 1821 in Westminster, London. 2. Tryphena born 1825 in Westminster, London. Is Tryphena a Barnett family name?? Her daughter was named Tryphena, then the daughter also gave her daughter the same name. 3. Elizabeth born 1827 in Westminster, London. 4. Martha born 1831 in Westminster, London. 5. thomas born 1834 in Hobart, Tasmania. 6. Henry Samuel born 1840 In Hobart, Tasmania. 7. Nathaniel Benjamin born 1843 in Huon, Tasmania.
