THOMAS/WILLIAMS/REES My G-Grandmother was Margaret Thomas and was born in 1862 in Pontardawe. Have found information that may place her in Kellybebill (as spelt then) and may have had a brother Daniel. I think she lived in Cwmdare with her first husband (Williams)and ran a shop together somewhere in Aberdare area. Her mother may have been Irish. She married her second husband John Rees and lived in Maerdy. Buried now in Maerdy cemetary with other members of her family. She had six children who lived beyond childhood and I know some relatives are local to me here in Leics, but some descendants in Birmingham too. Also old friends of her grandchildren still live in Maerdy today. Any new information gratefully accepted.
