My relative, William Wakefield had a CLARA BROOK staying with him in Brasted, Kent at the time of the 1881 census.....later, his widow, Ellen, had an EDGAR BROOK staying with her at the time of the 1891 census, when she lived at Tunbridge, kent. Clara Brook noted as being born at Dalston, Middlesex (which I believe is Hackney). I believe the Brooks were relatives as well as lodgers. I know very little of the Wakefields, and as the Brooks appear to be relatives of theirs, any information could lead to further enlightenment as to the Wakefield family tree. |
