I am looking for information about my birth family, in order to start my family tree. My mother is Rona Paton, born 1933 at Grandholme, Aberdeen. She was one of 6 children, and married in 1958 and went on to have a family. Her brother is David Paton, married to Juliette. My natural father was Andor Kelmar, a Hungarian doctor who fled here from the Hungarian Uprising in 1956, and who is thought to have emigrated to Canada in 1957 - I do not think he knows of my existence. I was adopted from a London Nursing Home into an unhappy family life. I need to know more about my roots, and I often wonder if my mother ever thinks of me. |
