My earliest connection is to Peter Fawcett b 1805 approx Leitrim Ireland and his wife Bridget b 1810 approx Sligo Ireland whose maiden name is unknown The england 1851 census shows them in Bingley with 4 children all born in Ireland and the name is spelled Fosset.The eldest Ann b 1837 Leitrim Ellen Fosset b 1839 Chaffpool Sligo James b 1843 Sligo and Briget 1845 Sligo Ellen married Joseph Longthorne 1856 Addingham and they lived in Knaresborough and had children Mary Jane 56 Rachael 57 James 68 and Eliza 69. They then moved to Bradford James married Emma b 1854 Ebberston and they had 4 daughters up to the 1881 census. Mary Ellen 1871 Ann 1876 Clara 1878 and Martha 1880 born Bradford and then they lived in Halifax I will be glad of any information Thankyou Paul |
