My Crabbs came from Heswall/Gayton Cheshire.Although I have traced the family back to 1714 in Heswall they all but vanish after about 1811.My ancestor Ann Wright Crabbs father was Alexander Wright Crabb,her mothers name was Ann/Nancy.I can,t find a marriage for them in Heswall but think that their first child was born about 1798 and the last recorded was my ancestor Ann born 1810.Ann married ,I think in Liverpool to a John Brown,if I am correct then she married under the name Wright.Can anybody help? |
