Trying to find Brown

I'm trying to help my adult children trace their roots in the Brown family. I married their father, Noel Alexander Brown in 1974 and subsequently we divroced. His mother is called Olive and his father also Noel Alexander Brown. Both his parents apparetnly came from Liverpool, but it is unclear whether they were born there. They are both Black but were never comfrotable about that, so didn't want to discuss their heritages. Noel and Olkive married, had a daughter called Olive who died around the age of 2. They were subsequently divorced, but then later remarried each other again. Olive spent some of her earlier years dancing at the Windmill Theatre, London in a troup called 'The Blackbirds'. |
