Member Since: December 2006 Posts: 2 Send Message	My name is Margaret Callaghan, and I am trying to find relatives of William Bannister, born 1862 in Headington, OXFORD< England. Sailed to Australia on 14 December, 1880. Had brothers Eli, George, Walter, Amos (my grand-father), and a sister Ann. Father's name was James, and his mother's name was Mary. He had a daughter, who I understand was matron (?) of a Melbourne Hospital, but I have no other information. William died in early 1940's. He never returned to the UK.
