Hi, I,m Josie, I have been trying hard to find my grandmother,s parents. I know her father was a John Francis Williams, cab driver in London around 1870,s or thereabouts, although my grandmother always said he was fromWales originally, and that she and her sisters were put into a home., she said she was about 2. She had two sisters Charlotte (Lottie) and ethel and I,m sure there were other siblins as there was supposed to be a big family - but I am unable to verify this. I have had two people say that he maried a Jessie Love, but the siblings of this marriage do not tie up with the names of these 2 sisters etc. My grandmother was Eliza Anne Williams and married a Charles Albert Dorling i n 1900... I have found many of the Dorling side, but I have been stumped on the Williams side - as I am not able to verify my grandmother,s date ofbirth, but thing it is around Oct.1875, I would be eternallyrateful for any info on this matter!!!
