I can go back to my gggg grandad : John Gracie circa 1775 m Jean Bennoch I think. Their son: John Gracie b 1799 Glencairn,Dumfries m Agnes McDougall. Their 7 children were Sarah, Jane(Jean), Alexander Moffat, Robert, Joseph, John and Samuel Brown. Their daughter: Jane Gracie was my gg gran b 1825 Kirkbean, Kirkcudbright who m Joseph McAdam 1853 at Holywood,Dumfries. Anyone recognise anyone?
